Year after year, surveys show that career development is one of the top factors in attracting and retaining talent. Yet, it is also one of the lowest scoring areas in employee opinion surveys.
In the age of disruption and rapid change, traditional career ladders are no longer relevant. Yet employees continue to ask, “How will I progress in the organization?”, “What can I expect?” At the same time, managers, in their time-starved and operational mode, don’t take time or even avoid career conversations for fear of opening a can of worms. As stewards of human capital in the organization, we know developing our people now for future skills is critical for organizational success.
How do we do all this?
In this interactive webinar, we will:
– Reframe the future of career development
– Reimagine HR’s role in activating career conversations
– Refresh a framework for productive career coaching in a no-time environment
– Reignite career conversations as an everyday conversation and part of your organization’s DNA
Target audience: HR leaders and managers will find this session useful.
